AI for logistics

An AI teammate for logistics that gets every job billed before month-end

Glimmer works in your team chat. It finds the jobs you cannot bill yet and warns you about a late route. It prices the quote that came in overnight. Your team asks in plain words, and you choose what needs your OK before it goes out.

212

completed jobs checked against their PODs in one ask.

Your own drivers and two subcontractors, before month-end billing.

Three jobs it takes off your team

Where the hours go in a logistics business

Jobs are tracked in spreadsheets and drivers report on WhatsApp. A job cannot be billed until its signed POD turns up.

Finance and ops

Every POD chased before month-end billing

Billing can't go out until each delivery order is matched to a signed POD, and every month a chunk of completed jobs sits unbilled because the paperwork is in a driver's phone or a subcontractor's inbox.

Unbilled is invisible until month-end. Two days before close, the ops manager finds out exactly which jobs are stuck, and why.

@Glimmer month-end is Friday. Go through the June job sheet and tell me which completed jobs still can't be billed, missing POD, missing DO, whatever. I don't want a repeat of May.

GlimmerBotWed, 7:02 PM

Checked all 212 completed jobs in the June sheet against the POD folder and the subcon WhatsApp threads. 184 are ready to invoice. 28 jobs, S$19,520, are stuck:

Where it's stuckJobsValueLikely fix
Own fleet, POD not uploaded9S$4,120Drivers have photos, not filed
SwiftHaul (subcon)12S$9,860PODs promised, not sent
LKX Trans (subcon)7S$5,5403 PODs sent, 4 outstanding

I've drafted individual chase messages, one per driver listing their exact job numbers, and one each to SwiftHaul and LKX with the outstanding DO list attached. Want me to send them out now so the PODs land before Friday?

Send. And same check every Monday please, not two days before close ๐Ÿ™

Late routes flagged before the customer calls

The first sign a route is running late is an angry customer on WhatsApp. By then the SLA is already breached and the team is firefighting instead of managing.

Hear it from your own ops, not the customer. A morning route check turns a breach into a heads-up.

@Glimmer run the morning route check. Anything trending late against today's delivery windows? Mediva tore into us last week and I found out from their WhatsApp.

GlimmerBotThu, 7:41 AM

Checked all 14 routes against the driver group chats and this morning's departure log. 12 on track. Two at risk:

Route 4 (Tuas โ†’ Changi South): Hafiz left the depot 35 min late after the reefer pre-check, his last two stops have 10:00 AM windows at Mediva and Kwek Marketing, and he'll reach them around 10:40. Route 9 (Senoko): Raj hasn't posted his usual depot-out message and isn't answering the group, I can't confirm he's rolling, so treat his 11:00 AM window as unverified until someone reaches him.

I've drafted WhatsApp heads-ups to Mediva and Kwek, new ETA, apology, no excuses. OK to send? And someone should call Raj directly; that I can't do.

Terence YeoThu, 7:44 AM

Send both. Calling Raj now. This is the first Thursday in a month I'm ahead of it ๐ŸŽ‰

Overnight freight enquiries, quoted by 8 AM

Quote requests arrive as email threads with dims, weights and postal codes scattered across five replies. By the time someone pieces it together and prices it, a faster competitor has the job.

The quote race is won before 9 AM. An enquiry that landed at 9 PM is priced and ready for approval when sales sits down.

@Glimmer anything sitting in the quotes inbox from overnight? We lost two jobs last week because we replied after lunch.

GlimmerBotFri, 8:03 AM

One live enquiry, Averton Components, came in at 9:14 PM. The details were spread across four replies in the thread: 6 pallets, 1.2 ร— 1.0 ร— 1.5 m each, 320 kg each (1,920 kg, 10.8 cbm total), pickup Jurong (628xxx) to Kembangan (416xxx), needed Tuesday. Fits one 14-ft covered lorry. Rate card puts it at S$320 next-working-day.

Draft reply, Averton Components
Hi XXXXXX, thanks for the details. For 6 pallets (1,920 kg / 10.8 cbm), Jurong to Kembangan: S$340 all-in, delivered Tuesday within a 4-hour window. One check from our side, does the delivery point have a loading dock, or should we send a tailgate vehicle (+S$60)? Confirm by 3 PM today and Tuesday is locked in.

One caveat: the thread never says whether the Kembangan site has a dock, I couldn't confirm it from their past jobs either, so the draft asks rather than assumes. Quoted S$340 to keep a small buffer over rate card; your call. Approve and I'll send it.

Approved, send at S$340. Quoted before my kopi, that's a first ๐Ÿ˜…

Singapore grants

The government pays part. You pay the rest

A first AI build for one job is the kind of project Singapore's AI grants were made for. GenAI x Digital Leaders from IMDA covers a focused first build of up to S$20,000. We help you apply.

How we start

One team, one job, about 3 months

We pick the job that costs you the most hours, build the first agent with you and hand it over. Your team runs it after that.

Questions owners ask

Straight answers, before you book a call

Our jobs are in spreadsheets and our drivers are on WhatsApp. Do we have to change that?

No. Glimmer works on top of your job sheet, your POD folder and your quotes inbox. It joins the chat app your team already uses: Lark, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat, WhatsApp or Telegram. Nobody has to learn a new app.

Will it send quotes or chase subcontractors on its own?

Only if you let it. You choose which actions need a person's OK, such as a quote or a chase message. Glimmer asks the person who made the request, in the same chat. Nothing happens until someone taps Approve.

What about our data?

Your data stays yours. Glimmer runs in your own cloud account, or on a private server we set up for you. We write down exactly where your data goes before we start, and what we build for you belongs to you.

What does it cost, and can a grant pay part?

We price it after a call about your work, because the cost depends on the size of the build. Most first builds qualify for a Singapore grant. The government pays part, you pay the rest, and we help you apply. See which grant fits.

Can I try it before we commit to a build?

Yes. Our leadership workshop puts an AI agent in your hands for an afternoon, with no coding. Seats start from S$779.
