The PSG grant is now merged under EDGE. Ready-made AI tools are still eligible

Enterprise Singapore stopped the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) on 29 September 2026. Ready-made tools such as an AI chatbot are now eligible under EDGE, Enterprise Singapore's new business grant. EDGE also covers the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) and Market Readiness Assistance (MRA). More details: Enterprise Singapore PSG page, EDGE FAQ, EDGE page

Merged under EDGE since 30 September 2026

Worked example

An AI chatbot quoted at S$12,000

This is an example. EDGE supports up to 50% of eligible costs for an SME on this tool, up to S$7,500. GST is not an eligible cost.

Chatbot, 12 months, before GSTS$12,000
EDGE support at 50%, claimed backS$6,000
Your cost after the grant, before GSTS$6,000

Support stops at S$7,500, which is 50% of S$15,000. A quote of S$20,000 still gets at most S$7,500 of support. More details

A custom AI agent

An AI agent built for your company falls under a different part of EDGE

  • A ready-made tool works the same way for every customer. An AI agent built around your own systems and steps is not on the pre-approved list.
  • For a bigger build, EDGE has a separate part called Large-scale Digital Transformation. AI is one of the technologies it lists. The project must also connect your systems, such as sales and purchasing.
  • Glints is not a pre-approved vendor. We build custom agents, and on the call we tell you when a ready-made tool would do the job.

Documents

What to prepare

  • A vendor quotation that matches your package on SMEs Go Digital exactly.
  • A projection of the cost the tool saves you in the year after it goes live.

Where applications go wrong

Common reasons you lose the grant

  • Paying or starting before you apply. Enterprise Singapore does not support an application made after the work started. Read why you apply before you sign.
  • Asking the vendor to apply for you. Vendors and other third parties cannot submit applications or claims.
  • Changing vendor after approval. You have to end the application and apply again first.
  • Missing the claim due date. After it passes, the portal will not take your claim.
  • Losing the 30% local ownership before you claim. The claim is then not supported.
  • Counting on GST or maintenance. Neither is an eligible cost.
